Tree Donations
I would like to thank Weston Gardening Club for donating a tree during the tree planting in Archery Field April 2013.
The trees have been planted to replace the fallen Austrian Pine. The loss of this tree and a nearby Cedar prompted the local residents and the gardening club to form a collection to replace the tree that Jerome Murch planted circa 1853 while he developed what is now Summerfield School.

Open Gardens 2011
Thank you so much to all those who organised and manned the Open Gardens day yesterday. We took our children (6, 4, & 3 yrs old) along and we all enjoyed ourselves despite the torrential rain. The gardens were so interesting and truly inspiring; what a wonderful opportunity to see how other local gardeners cope with the slopes of Weston. The refreshments were excellent and all the stewards very welcoming, especially Caroline at Beechwood. We look forward to next year...and better weather!
